With e-commerce and online shopping being more popular than ever, King Jewelers wanted their website to reflect a more modern aesthetic while still embodying the rich spirit of their 100-year legacy. For a brand catering to luxury consumers, it was important that they enjoy the same experience online as they would in-store.
An Eye for Detail
Luxury doesn’t have to be ostentatious. In fact, understatement speaks of refinement and class. We incorporated this concept of subtle elegance into the design by using gold accents all throughout the website. This treatment not only echoed the brand colors but provided a consistent visual cue for each component on every part of the website. We also framed the main image of the home page in a manner reminiscent of editorial fashion magazines; a nod to our more fashion-forward luxury consumers.
