We’re looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is experienced in converting web designs into functional websites. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work closely with our awesome UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop new user-facing features, maintain and optimize existing ones
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Work using tests, code reviews, and continuous integration to ensure a high level of quality in your code
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of developing high quality, modern web applications
- Strong markup skills (HTML5 / CSS3) and strictly follows HTML semantic
- Experience using Vue.js and supporting libraries such as ReactJS or Angular 2+
- Experience in developing websites using CMS like WordPress
- Experience with design tools like InVision and Figma
- Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Knowledge in using BEM and ITCSS
- Up to date understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem. Including but not limited to: ES6/7, Babel transpilation, Webpack, Unit test runners and supporting frameworks
- Knowledge and ability to manage servers is a plus (AWS, DigitalOcean)
- Comfortable using the command line and GIT
- Understanding of SPA State Management patterns such as Redux a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop a plus
- English proficiency (written and spoken)
